Dr. Srinivas Yanamandra: We Need to Pay Attention to Financial Technological Innovations.

      On June 30, 2018, the first World Finance Forum, co-sponsored by the Center for BRICS and Global Governance (CBGG) and the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee (RBWC) was held in Beijing. Dr. Srinivas Yanamandra, chief compliance officer of BRICS New Development Bank, was invited to the forum and made a keynote speech. 

      Dr. Srinivas Yanamandra said after experiencing a global crisis, the world will have three different uncertainties, including infrastructure, institutions, and information technology. The BRICS New Development Bank is a major new financial system innovation in infrastructure after the 2008 international financial crisis. Governments of all countries need to pay attention to technological innovations, especially financial technology and other issues, and to explore how the fourth industrial technological revolution will promote better development. For global governance, how to deal with financial crimes such as money laundering will be an important challenge. Especially in the context of fin-tech innovation, how the world financial system continue to develop and develop in a more effective way? This is an issue that we need to focus on and discuss.
