CBGG Held a Seminar in Beijing on the Impact of US and European Financial Sanctions on Russia and the World and the Reform of the International Monetary System

On April 23, 2022, the Academic Seminar on the impact of US and European financial sanctions on Russia and the world and the reform of the international monetary system, jointly organized by the Center for BRICS and Global Governance (CBGG) and the World Finance Forum(WFF), was held in Beijing. This academic seminar focuses on the profound adjustments and changes that the global economic and financial system and the international monetary system are facing under the current Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Relevant experts and scholars, financial leaders, heads of financial departments, business representatives and decision-making departments of relevant ministries and commissions are invited to take charge. People conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges, analyze and predict the future development of the world economy, globalization and the BRICS countries, and discuss how China and the BRICS countries will respond.
This seminar was held in the form of a closed-door meeting combining online and offline in accordance with the relevant requirements for the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

The meeting was chaired by Feng Xingke, Director of CBGG and Secretary General of the World Finance Forum.
It is reported that more than 20 guests from the head of the decision-making department, the Central Settlement Corporation, CNPC Capital, the Silk Road Fund, Lexin Group and so on participated in the discussion and exchange.
